The Friends of St. Bridget-Nolan Settlement is a 501.3(c) non-profit organization that was formed by former parishioners to maintain the church when it was official closed as a Catholic church in 1996. There are special events throughout the year and the church is sometimes rented for private events, but the majority of financial support comes from individuals and families. Some of our major projects we’ve completed include:
>Endowed St. Bridget Cemetery in the amount of $60,000
>Replaced old septic system
>Repaired and painted the church steeple
>Put on a new roof on the church
>Trimmed the trees
>Built and furnished a small gathering building with restrooms, seating, mini-kitchen, and bridal dressing area.
People often ask how they can support and help preserve this historic and beautiful church which was built in 1894. Your financial donation helps with every aspect in the care and maintenance of St. Bridget’s Church and property. It’s also a wonderful way to honor a friend or family member with a donation for a cause that they love. We are a 501.3(c) non-profit and your donation may be tax deductible.
